Getting ready to breed the divine Aphrodite Dragon, Ginger as Dragon of the Week and other news

Image
Hello Dragon Ladies and Lords! The castle event is still going on, clan dragon race has started today, Kitty Dragon is now available in card packs, but the most exciting news for this week is: Aphrodite Dragon will again be breedable in Chain Breeding for four days between Tuesday and Monday (which is actually Christmas Eve). Parents for this divine beauty aren't yet publicly known and it seems that Gameloft won't reveal them any earlier than on Tuesday morning. It will be probably extremely hard to breed a divine dragon in just four days, even if you start trying just after the Chain Breeding starts, so it is important to have both parents required for Aphrodite earlier. But how can you get required dragons during the next two days if you don't know, which dragons are required? Well, here I come with the analyze of most likely candidates for Aphrodite parents, which will be main topic of this post. Later I will also highlight other news for this week. So, let's start!

Tourist Dragons part 1: Łazienki Królewskie

Image
Hello Dragon Ladies and Lords! As I promised, today I have a very short, purely entertainment post for you. First of all, I'd like you to meet my super cute, plush dragon friend: Agapanthus Stellaris. Very long name for such a small dragon, isn't it? :) However, this dragon had wanted to have a name with similar tone to the one I'm using here on blog, so Agapanthus is a Latin name for a pretty blue flower (like Vicia is a Latin name for small, purple flowers), and Stellaris is a Latin adjective that translates as "Stellar". Agapanthus also agrees to be called Agallaris, which is just a shortened form of his name - doesn't it sound cute? In the pictures here, Agallaris and I meet a peacock.  Peacocks  are birds that naturally live in Asia, however, they are just so colorful and beautiful, that they have been brought by humans to many other places - including Warsaw. Just after taking those photos, I realized that there is a  Peacock Dragon  in DML! Th

10 - 17 December Dragon of the Week: the Block Dragon (and other news)

Hello Dragon Ladies and Lords! It's been so long since the last time I have written anything here and I'm terribly sorry for this. My life is so busy lately and I should be either working or learning (or sleeping perhaps?) now, but not writing my blog makes me so sad that I decided to reactivate it. I probably won't write as much as during the summer, but I'll do my best :) I've just decided that in order to keep the posts within the reasonable time intervals without spending more time than I am able to, between essential posts, I will be also writing some little entertainment notes just slightly related to the Dragon Mania Legends. First post like this will be here Tuesday evening and will include some photos of DML playing in a cool place. But, let's get back to the news for the upcoming week!

July Dragon of the Month review and breeding guide: the Firestar Dragon

Image
Hello Dragon Ladies and Lords! Gameloft has just surprised us all with the update that, besides the hotfix solving recent problems, brought another brand-new legendary dragon: the Firestar Dragon , who has light and energy elements . It has been officially announced as the Dragon of the Month for July with the required elements being fire, wind, earth and plant . It is another surprise, as three of those elements were also elements for  Furnace , and no other DotM this year have had more than two elements in common with the previous one. So, all my hard work to predict the combination  was in vain, but luckily, we know the elements required for sure now and I can write a detailed breeding guide (and a dragon review as well). So, let's start!

25 June - 2 July 2018 Dragon of the Week: the Butterfly Dragon and quick look on other dragons from this week

Image
Hello Dragon Ladies and Lords! This time I'm kinda late with the news. We have new Dragon of the Week: highly desired Butterfly Dragon, new Weekly Dragon pieces: Armory and Boss Challenge ongoing. Not to mention ongoing Crowded Nursery and Clan Siege and upcoming Dinnertime! Quite a lot to do! Gameloft definitely is trying really hard to keep our attention even during summer holidays. So, let's take a quick look on the dragons we can get this week, shall we?

July Dragon of the Month speculations and some more news on the latest update and new divines

Image
Hello Dragon Ladies and Lords! I have some news for you, both good and bad, on the latest update and the upcoming event announced by Gameloft. I have also made some speculations about upcoming Dragon of the Month. The reason why I did this is that we already know that new divines are coming to Dragonlandia and in both previous divine events, one divine was a Dragon of the Week, with the current Dragon of the Month as one of the parents. So, it would be great to get July Dragon of the Month quickly to have the whole week to breed a divine if the known scheme of breeding them will repeat. And the next Dragon of the Week will be the Butterfly Dragon that has been awaited by many, many players, so if you try to breed the Butterfly Dragon and then Gameloft reveals the element combination that points you also need to breed a dragon for a No. 1 combination, the situation will be very hard for you. To try to avoid this, you can take a look at the list I have prepared and try to obtain a dra

Do NOT download the new update - and some other notes on news (NEW divines, new body type, two breeding dens etc.)

Hello Dragon Ladies and Lords! I haven't planned to write any post today, but I've just downloaded the update and I must warn you not to download it as long as it is possible! I know one day it will update automatically, but as long as it is possible to play with the old version of the game, keep it! In this text I will explain why isn't it a good idea to rush updating your game and sum up all the currently know information about what's new coming to Dragonlandia. So, let's start!

18-25 June 2018 Dragon of the Week review: the Sylvan Dragon

Image
Hello Dragon Ladies and Lords! I needed to take some breath after the last post, so the review of the Sylvan Dragon got a little bit delayed and it is possible that some of you have already bred. Nevertheless I hope that you forgive me the break that I really needed and that this text is useful for those who hasn't bred Sylvan yet and aren't sure if they should try. Meanwhile I have drawn (and calligraphied) a fanart inspired by the Codex entry about Sylvan. I'm not sure what are the flowers at its tail, but Idoine91 from the  DML Forum  says they may be Hibiscus, so I drew also some Hibiscus trees and flowers in the background. Do you like it? Can you name all the dragons in the drawing? I'm sure you can! But let's get back to Sylvan itself!

Enchanting dragons: resources managment tool and the guide

Image
Hello Dragon Ladies and Lords! Daimen from the  Clan Duncan  asked me to write something about enchanting divine dragons so I decided to make a detailed guide on enchanting dragons in general, with a section on enchanting a divine dragon. In this text, I will share with you a tool that I had created to help me manage my enchanting resources, provide you with some general tips on getting possibly much of those resources, help you decide which of your dragons should you enchant and when and finally, explain what is the difference between enchanting a divine dragon and any other dragon and what are the things that you should focus on when enchanting a divine dragon is your primary goal. So, let's start!

11-18 June 2018 Dragon of the Week review: the Jinqiu Dragon

Image
Hello Dragon Ladies and Lords! Although the Sparkler Dragon is still our current Dragon of the Week, Gameloft has already revealed the dragon for the upcoming week: the Jinqiu Dragon. So, technically, he isn't a brand-new dragon, but the only opportunity to obtain him that we had been given were almost two years ago, in a feeding event. He was the main leaderboard prize, so only 0,3% players of DML obtained him then. I think it's optimistic to assume that one third of players from 2016 keep playing now, and with this assumption, I guess less than 0,1% players have him (as there are more players now than then). Therefore, it is a new dragon for almost everyone. Isn't it great? Well, I am pretty excited about Jinqiu. I thin he's so much pretty and I'm already tearing my hair out trying to find a place for two Jinqius (an adult and a baby) in my habitats...
