Getting ready to breed the divine Aphrodite Dragon, Ginger as Dragon of the Week and other news

Image
Hello Dragon Ladies and Lords! The castle event is still going on, clan dragon race has started today, Kitty Dragon is now available in card packs, but the most exciting news for this week is: Aphrodite Dragon will again be breedable in Chain Breeding for four days between Tuesday and Monday (which is actually Christmas Eve). Parents for this divine beauty aren't yet publicly known and it seems that Gameloft won't reveal them any earlier than on Tuesday morning. It will be probably extremely hard to breed a divine dragon in just four days, even if you start trying just after the Chain Breeding starts, so it is important to have both parents required for Aphrodite earlier. But how can you get required dragons during the next two days if you don't know, which dragons are required? Well, here I come with the analyze of most likely candidates for Aphrodite parents, which will be main topic of this post. Later I will also highlight other news for this week. So, let's start!...

10 - 17 December Dragon of the Week: the Block Dragon (and other news)

Image
Hello Dragon Ladies and Lords! It's been so long since the last time I have written anything here and I'm terribly sorry for this. My life is so busy lately and I should be either working or learning (or sleeping perhaps?) now, but not writing my blog makes me so sad that I decided to reactivate it. I probably won't write as much as during the summer, but I'll do my best :) I've just decided that in order to keep the posts within the reasonable time intervals without spending more time than I am able to, between essential posts, I will be also writing some little entertainment notes just slightly related to the Dragon Mania Legends. First post like this will be here Tuesday evening and will include some photos of DML playing in a cool place. But, let's get back to the news for the upcoming week!

25 June - 2 July 2018 Dragon of the Week: the Butterfly Dragon and quick look on other dragons from this week

Image
Hello Dragon Ladies and Lords! This time I'm kinda late with the news. We have new Dragon of the Week: highly desired Butterfly Dragon, new Weekly Dragon pieces: Armory and Boss Challenge ongoing. Not to mention ongoing Crowded Nursery and Clan Siege and upcoming Dinnertime! Quite a lot to do! Gameloft definitely is trying really hard to keep our attention even during summer holidays. So, let's take a quick look on the dragons we can get this week, shall we?

18-25 June 2018 Dragon of the Week review: the Sylvan Dragon

Image
Hello Dragon Ladies and Lords! I needed to take some breath after the last post, so the review of the Sylvan Dragon got a little bit delayed and it is possible that some of you have already bred. Nevertheless I hope that you forgive me the break that I really needed and that this text is useful for those who hasn't bred Sylvan yet and aren't sure if they should try. Meanwhile I have drawn (and calligraphied) a fanart inspired by the Codex entry about Sylvan. I'm not sure what are the flowers at its tail, but Idoine91 from the  DML Forum  says they may be Hibiscus, so I drew also some Hibiscus trees and flowers in the background. Do you like it? Can you name all the dragons in the drawing? I'm sure you can! But let's get back to Sylvan itself!

11-18 June 2018 Dragon of the Week review: the Jinqiu Dragon

Image
Hello Dragon Ladies and Lords! Although the Sparkler Dragon is still our current Dragon of the Week, Gameloft has already revealed the dragon for the upcoming week: the Jinqiu Dragon. So, technically, he isn't a brand-new dragon, but the only opportunity to obtain him that we had been given were almost two years ago, in a feeding event. He was the main leaderboard prize, so only 0,3% players of DML obtained him then. I think it's optimistic to assume that one third of players from 2016 keep playing now, and with this assumption, I guess less than 0,1% players have him (as there are more players now than then). Therefore, it is a new dragon for almost everyone. Isn't it great? Well, I am pretty excited about Jinqiu. I thin he's so much pretty and I'm already tearing my hair out trying to find a place for two Jinqius (an adult and a baby) in my habitats...

7 - 14 May 2018 Dragon of the Week Review: the Clover Dragon

Image
Hello Dragon Ladies and Lords! I am sorry for my recent absence but I am back to blogging. Today I am gonna write about my thoughts on the new Dragon of the Week, that has arrived to our Dragonlandias just today: the Clover Dragon. As the solo event takes place this week, you will need to plan your breedings wisely to gather 4  , 3   and 12  for breeding hybrid dragons, on Tier 4, Tier 6 and Tier 8 respectively. This means you will either have much less time than usually for trying to breed DotW, or have hard time on your way to Bonsai Dragon. Is the Clover Dragon worth all this trouble? Let's see!

This text will provide you with general information about Go Green obtaining, potential usages as a battle dragon, a parent, a temple upgrading dragon and gold generation, to help you decide whether you should try breeding it or not. So, let's start!

This text will provide you with information about Astronaut breeding, potential usages as battle dragon, parent, temple upgrading dragon and gold generation. 2-9 April 2019 Dragon of the Week review: the Avocado Dragon

Image
Hello Dragon Ladies and Lords! Although current Dragon of the Week is still  Sweet Treat , Gameloft has already revealed Dragon of the Week for the next week: the Avocado Dragon! This text will provide you with information about Avocado's history, breeding, potential usage as a battle dragon, parent, in temple upgrading and gold generation. So, let's start! Avocado's history    Image posted on official DML Facebook Avocado Dragon has been originally designed by Poci16 as DML fanart and posted on DeviantArt here . As Poci16 came up with Avocado's idea, it was a legendary dragon with light and plant elements. A few days ago, Gameloft announced Avocado as incoming Dragon of the Week, a rare dragon with plant and earth elements. Some people couldn't believe it and kept asking if it's an April Fools' Day prank, but it is officially confirmed that Avocado is coming to Dragonlandia tomorrow as Dragon of the Week! Adult and baby form of Avocado Dragon ...

26 March - 2 April 2018 Dragon of the Week review: Sweet Treat Dragon

Image
Hello Dragon Ladies and Lords! Welcome to the review of this week's Dragon of the Week: Sweet Treat Dragon. This article will provide you with information about breeding (also in context of ongoing castle event), potential usage of Sweet Treat in battles, breeding and leveling up temples, gold generating and finally, will help you decide if you should try to get it for yourself. So, let's start. Breeding    Graphics from official DML Facebook information  Although current Dragon of the Week is still  Hippie Dragon , Gameloft has already reveled Sweet Treat as next week's Dragon of the Week with Cloud Dragon and Geiger Dragon as parents. This combination isn't really hard and most of advanced players already have both of the needed dragons. For a new player, it shouldn't be a problem as well - almost everyone gets Cloud Dragon pretty early, as it's wind-water combination, and Geiger, who could be problematic because of the energy element, is common, so wi...

19-26 March 2018 Dragon of the Week review: Hippie Dragon

Image
Hello Dragon Ladies and Lords! Welcome to the review of this week's Dragon of the Week: Hippie Dragon. This article will provide you with information about breeding, potential usage of Hippie in battles, breeding and leveling up temples, gold generating and finally, will help you decide if you should try to get it for your own. So, let's start! Breeding Baby Hippie Dragon To get your Hippie Dragon, you have to breed  Lava Dragon  with  Candy Dragon.  This is rather easy combination, one common and one uncommon dragon, with first four elements that you unlock, so you can possibly have both needed dragons at player level 11. This means that you have a chance of obtaining your Hippie Dragon even if you started playing DML just a  few days ago! Breeding takes 20 h (16 h if you are 2+ level VIP) and hatching takes 1 d 2 h (20 h 48 min if you are 2+ level VIP). This is quite long, and this article will help you determine if this dragon is worth those time...
